Walk the job. Leave with the survey, the budget and the design started.

A job-walk app for AV integrators. Capture each room on your phone, run the field math as you go, and hand the office a client-ready survey and a design that is already half drawn.

Try it now

Add up what one switch uplink carries. Rules of thumb, rounded up; check the real numbers in Dante Controller and your encoder's spec sheet.

The problem

A job walk ends with forty photos in your camera roll, notes in three apps, a napkin budget and a schematic nobody has started. Then someone spends an evening at the desk turning it into a survey PDF, re-typing the gear list and re-doing the throw and 70V math. The quoting tools start at the desk. Nothing starts at the door.

What it does

Room by room

Photos with markup, dimensions, existing gear and what the client wants, captured as you walk. Works offline.

Field calcs in each room

Dante and AV-over-IP bandwidth, 70V/100V tap load, speaker cable loss, projector throw and rack power and heat, saved with the room.

A rough budget on site

Pick room packages from your own price book and add labor hours. Get a ballpark before you leave the parking lot.

Survey PDF for the client

A clean survey and budget report with your logo, ready to send the same day.

Design already started

Open the walk in AV Cloud: rooms become groups and the gear you logged becomes devices on the signal-flow canvas.

Questions

Can I use it now?

Not yet. The bandwidth check on this page works today. Join the list and you will get one email when the beta opens.

What will it cost?

We are planning $19 a month per user, or free with an AV Cloud seat. The beta is free.

Is it an iPhone app?

It runs in the browser on any phone or tablet and installs to the home screen, so it works offline on site. No app store needed.

Does it replace D-Tools, Jetbuilt or Portal?

No. It covers the walk and the first budget, then exports a PDF, a spreadsheet and an AV Cloud project. Keep your quoting tool for the final proposal.

How accurate is the bandwidth check?

It uses the published rules of thumb for Dante at 48 kHz/24-bit and full-bandwidth NDI, rounded up. Confirm in Dante Controller and your encoder spec sheets before ordering switches.

Who is building it?

Polyology, a one-person studio run by someone who has spent years in commercial AV.
